Important Information:

Leadership Summit begins with Registration (9:30-10am) at the Welcome Center at the South Entrance where you will receive your name tag. Folders with reports will be available at the tables in room C104. Business sessions will be in C104, lunch and dinner will be in C102 and the Worship/Ordination Service will be in the Sanctuary.

11:45am- Organize Conference/Nominating Committee results (e-mail ballot before Leadership Summit)

Noon-       Lunch

1:30pm-   Gateway Vision - Supt. Tolly

2:15pm-   Break

2:30pm-   Special Speaker-Larry Walkemeyer, co-strategic catalyst for multiplication on the Free Methodist Church USA Executive Leadership Team 

3:30pm-   Board of Administration report/Ministerial Education and Guidance Report

4:30pm-    Adjourn for Dinner

5:00pm-    Dinner 

7:00pm-    Worship/Message by Bishop Cowart/Ordination Service

*Breakfast will not be served (snacks, coffee and soda will be available all day). Our afternoon break will feature Cheese and Sausage from Marcoot Jersey Creamery:  https://marcootjerseycreamery.com/.

Nominating Committee

Ballot and Voting

Information

The Nominating Committee Ballot was sent on Monday through Constant Contact to those who are eligible to vote. This ballot will close on April 15th.

Those with the highest number of votes will be elected (a majority will not be needed).  In the event of a tie, the Gateway Conference Board of Administration will determine who will serve. The results will be handed out at Leadership Summit.

Service Awards

Service Awards will be given during the Dinner at Leadership Summit. According to our information, the following people will be receiving service awards:

10 year award-Jennifer Dunkley

35 year award-Steve Coates

40 year award-Mark Scandrett

Service awards are given for years of appointed service in a Free Methodist Church or Free Methodist Institution and are given in increments of 5 years. If you are eligible for an award and do not see your name on the list, please respond to gatewayfmcusa@gmail.com by Tuesday, April 16.

Stole Information and What to Wear



Wondering what is appropriate to wear? Business Casual is the answer.

Ordained Pastors,

You do not need to bring your stole this year for the Ordination Service (unless you would like to wear it).

Childcare Reimbursement for Pastors

Childcare will not be provided during Leadership Summit. Pastors with young children who have childcare provided at home during Leadership Summit can ask to be reimbursed for this expense.
